Is Kim Kardashian following in the footstep of her famous father? No we aren't talking about Bruce Jenner, though we would love to see Kim as a star Olympian. We are talking about her late father Robert Kardashian. While the family gained notoriety after Robert was part of O.J. Simpson's legal team, it seems that Kim is looking to do some good and has asked George Clooney's new wife Amal Alamuddin to help her start a law career.

According to Radar Online, Amal is working on a human rights case that would bring about change to the denial that an Armenian genocide happened in the 1900s.

It seems that Kim, who is of Armenian heritage, has taken an interest in Alamuddin's case and is hoping to get involved in causes similar to this one.

A source explained to the National Enquirer that Kim has been vocal that she wants to become involved with more humanitarian efforts.

"Kim has been telling friends that she has plans to do lots of humanitarian work this year," the insider stated. "She wants to follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie."

So what is the reason behind the career change? Well Kardashian is hoping to give her image some credit and thinks that rubbing elbows with Amal would definitely do the trick.

"Kim is eager to smarten up her image: She's planning on visiting refugees from Syria when she goes to Armenia," the insider explained. "She's trying to convince Amal that teaming up is a win/win for both of them."

We aren't so sure what Amal would get out of pairing, but that isn't stopping the Kardashian from contacting Clooney's new bride.

The insider explained that Kim "has been calling George's handlers, pleading for an introduction to Amal," in addition to emailing "Amal's London law office hoping to track her down.

"Despite that Kim doesn't have a law degree — or even a college degree — she wants Amal to hire her as a consultant on the Armenia case," the source stated.
