MStars News has learned that the late Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers has decided to step into the middle of Giuliana Rancic's drama with Fashion Police after she made hurtful comments about actress Zendaya's dreadlocks during the Oscars.

MStars News has been keeping up with the ongoing story since the beginning, and it doesn't seem that the topic of the racial slur that Rancic made in this week's episode of the E! show is going to be put to rest until some deep punishments are put into action.

Now Melissa Rivers is getting in the middle, saying: "We @e_FashionPolice have nothing but love for @Zendaya then and now. A repeat guest host." She wrote the message as a caption on the photo above.

The photo is a snapshot of Joan Rivers and Zendaya on a previous taping of Fashion Police before the comedian died last year.

According to Hollywood Life, Zendaya has been a guest star on the show plenty of times, and she has also stood in for Rancic as a guest host!

So with all the drama, if Rancic decided to quit or gets fired, do you think Zendaya would be a pretty good host?

MStars News previously reported that Rancic joked about Zendaya's Oscar red carpet look, saying the star probably "smells like patchouli oil" or "weed."

Since her comments Rancic has made two apologies.

As Zendaya finally forgave the TV host. The beauty wrote: "Giuliana, I appreciate your apology and I'm glad it was a learning experience for you and for the network."
