Jack Falahee might play one of the most lusted-after gay characters on TV, but in real life the star's sexuality has been something of a mystery. Viola Davis's co-star has kept pretty hush-hush about whether he prefers the company of men or women, but it seems like as his show HTGAWM starts to gain more critical acclaim, the rumors about his sexual preference starts to grow louder. In a SiriusXM interview he addressed the LGBT questions.

According to The Huffington Post, the star recently opened up during a photo shoot for Out magazine, where he said he didn't feel the need to answer the question of who he's sleeping with.

"I don't think answering who I'm sleeping with accomplishes anything other than quenching the thirst of curiosity," the actor explained to the magazine. "No matter how I answer, someone will say, 'No, that's not true.'"

Jack got a little bit of heat from the media for his answer to that question, as many were wondering since if he was gay why he wasn't being open about it to be a role model to LGBT youth.

But the 25-year-old How to Get Away with Murder star addressed the issue again during a radio interview with SiriusXM Progress, where he tried to clarify his original answer to the sexuality question.

"I was basically trying to say, for my it's like asking an actor who plays an alcoholic what their relationship is with alcohol," the star explained. "Its not necessarily -- I think we're projecting onto actors in a way. I think we're expecting them to be their characters when, at the end of the day, this is my job and I'm an actor portraying a role on a fictitious television show."

The star didn't give an answer to the question but simply left it at this: "We don't ask the actor playing James Bond what his sexual preference is. So I don't know what it is, really, with trying to out actors who portray gay characters on television. But it is some sort of fascination in society."
