'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Engagement Fake For MTV? Ex-Convict Reportedly Wants Attention from Getting Engaged on Reality Show!

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is supposed to be having one of the best days of her life after revealing she is engaged to boyfriend Matt Baier, but reports have surfaced that the MTV star may be faking the happy news to get higher rating for her reality show.

According to Radar Online, what was supposed to be an exciting milestone for the reality mom is really just acting for the cameras.

"The proposal was all for show," a source told the gossip site. "He doesn't have that kind of money."

The source goes on to say that even though the engagement happened in November, the father of two couldn't have afforded a ring for the reality star because he doesn't have a job.

On top of that, the MTV couple is said to be a toxic pair, especially for Amber's little girl Lea.

"They have a very tumultuous relationship," Radar reported. "They get into big fights and Matt says he's moving out. But then hours later, they act like everything is fine."

As MStars News reported, the recovering drug addict's fiancé has been known to bash fellow Teen Mom stars including spinoff mom Jenelle Evans.

Using the Twitter handle "Giant Idiot" some of Matt's harsh comments towards Jenelle included:

Unsurprisingly when commenting on his tweets the mother-of-two didn't hold back with her reaction writing on her Twitter, "To date a man as pathetic as that is sad. I'm sure the relationship won't last the way he acts, probably treats her the same!"
