Smackdown Spoilers 3/5/15: WWE Thursday Night Smackdown Results March 5, 2015: Daniel Bryan Gets Involved in Intercontinental Title Picture

WWE taped the March 5, 2015 edition of Thursday Night Smackdown from Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, and the show begins with Dolph Ziggler.

The Show Off announces he will be in the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 31. He starts to call out Daniel Bryan, but Bad News Barrett comes out to reclaim his belt. Dean Ambrose, Luke Harper, and R-Truth all arrive to try and take the title, and Truth leaves with it.

Tyson Kidd and Cesaro defeat Los Matadores after some shenanigans from Kidd.

Ryback defeats Kane in a short match with the Meathook Clothesline. Big Show is at ringside, so Kane books Ryback against Show on the spot. He then distracts Ryback, which allows Show to hit the KO Punch for the win.

Bray Wyatt cuts another promo on The Undertaker.

The Bella Twins come out for a promo. Nikki Bella says she has been giving Divas a chance in AJ Lee's absence, and none of them can hold a candle to her. AJ and Paige come out, and AJ defeats Brie Bella after Paige stops Nikki from interfering in the match.

Daniel Bryan conducts an interview and says he's excited to see who wins the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania.

The New Day defeats Miz and Damien Mizdow. The latter team further teases a breakup.

Jack Swagger announces he will be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. He also has a match with Rusev later tonight.

Roman Reigns cuts a promo backstage to say that Paul Heyman is right when he says Brock Lesnar will hurt him. But he will endure it and he'll walk out with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.

Rusev defeats Swagger with the Accolade. Curtis Axel cuts a promo on the TitanTron to say he's coming after the United States Championship.

Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose defeat Luke Harper and Bad News Barrett when Ziggler pins Harper after a Zig Zag. The usual suspects then scramble for the Intercontinental title. Daniel Bryan eventually emerges and R-Truth hands him the belt. Bryan leads a Yes! chant, but Stardust comes out and wallops Bryan. Stardust poses with the belt as the show goes off the air.
