The CW is developing a spinoff series of both Arrow and The Flash that will feature characters from both series. It's a unique and ambitious idea, and now some more details have emerged about the roster of the show.

First, a quick refresher. Deadline first reported that Brandon Routh would star as Ray Palmer aka The A.T.O.M. alongside Caity Lotz, who played Sara Lance aka The Canary on Arrow. From The Flash, the spinoff would take Wentworth Miller, who plays Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold, and Victor Garber, who plays Martin Stein, aka one half of Firestorm.

Now, TVLine reports on three new characters that are set to appear on the series. First, we have "The Traveler," described as a "Han Solo-esque rogue who gets by with his charm, this hero hails from the future, and has journeyed back in time on a secret mission. His razor-sharp wit hides the pain of a man who has lived through serious conflict. He also harbors many secrets, always leaving both his teammates and the audience unsure of his true allegiances."

TVLine notes this character could be the time traveller Rip Hunter, Booster Gold, or Time Traveler.

Next, we have "Female Warrior." "This twentysomething Latina is pretty but unassuming, book smart and socially awkward by day," the site reports. "But by night, when she hears the cry of battle, her fury is ignited and she becomes a fierce warrior - so much so, that sometimes she can become a threat to others."

TVLine says this character could be a cross between Fury and Yolanda Montez. The latter is the goddaughter of Ted "Wildcat" Grant, who has appeared on Arrow. Montez has taken the Wildcat mantle in the comics. The site also notes the character could be Pantha/Rosabelle Mendez or Tarantula/Catalina Marie Flores.

The third and final character is "Mystery Hero," who is an "African-American male in his twenties" who "will fill the role of a regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers, and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations," according to TVLine.

The site postulates that this character could be Virgil Ovid Hawkins aka Static, or possibly Black Lightning or Black Vulcan.
