Former Arrow star Caity Lotz will be a part of the CW's ambitious spinoff series of Arrow and The Flash that will feature characters from both shows. The beautiful blonde actress made some comments about the series and her role in it during a recent appearance.

Lotz appears at a Fan Fest 2015 Panel and the moderator asked if and how Sara Lance would return to the Arrow and Flash universe.

“Sara Lance definitely died in Episode 1 of Season 3. Oh, spoiler alert! Sorry if you’re not caught up,” she joked. “And then, has anybody heard about the spin-off? So there is a new show in development and I’m so excited to finally be able to talk about this. The Atom, Firestorm, my character and, so I guess that is a big thing that’s going on and everyone keeps asking me when they see on the Internet, ‘Well, you’re dead. How are you going to be in the new show? Is it just going to be flashbacks or are you playing a whole new character? Are you Sara Lance? I would love to tell you, but I think they might kill me.”

The moderator then joked that no one in comics ever really dies. “How many times have I died already?" Lotz replied. "Sara Lance has died, I think three times, so you never know.”

For a quick refresher on the main details of the spinoff, Deadline first reported that Brandon Routh would star as Ray Palmer aka The A.T.O.M. alongside Caity Lotz, who played Sara Lance aka The Canary on Arrow. From The Flash, the spinoff would take Wentworth Miller, who plays Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold, and Victor Garber, who plays Martin Stein, aka one half of Firestorm.

The spinoff is reportedly scheduled for a 2016 release of 13 episodes.
