For its highly anticipated premiere, PlayStation Network released the pilot, Episode 1, of its superhero/drama series, Powers. Based on the comic book by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, actor Eddie Izzard went on Larry King Now to dish a few teasers about his character, Wolf.

As we previously mentioned, Powers is set in an alternate world where superpowers have become part of everyday life. At the "Powers" Division of the Los Angeles Police Department, Detective and ex-superhero Christian Walker (Sharlto Copley) has been assigned to his new feisty partner, Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward). The first story arc, "Who Killed Retro Girl?" follows the lead detectives as they discover a dead superhero and track down their only eyewitness, a young girl named Calista (Olesya Rulin), who knows what really happened that night.

In the episode, Wolf is seen in his prison cell, locked in chains. Christian wants to know if Johnny Royalle (Noah Taylor) is still alive.

For Ora TV, the stand-up comedian stay down with the iconic journalist and spoke about the premise, "The premise of powers is interesting. It's our world with powers shoved in to it. But it's a detective story, so it's really about two detectives in the powers division who only deal with crimes done by these powers people."

The Riches actor then dished on his character, "Wolf is a character who has four of these powers: super strength, super speed, I can absorb powers off other people, I eat them, I devour them in fact like an animal, and I also heal at ridiculous speeds."
