Based on the crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season of Justified continues on FX. Are Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant), Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), and Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter) getting 'Burned' before their final showdown?

In our previous recap, while Raylan had a visit from his wife and daughter, the manhunt for Ty Walker (Garret Dillahunt) escalated. When Ava (Joelle Carter) revealed she has been ratting out on Boyd (Walton Goggins), Ty had already killed two paramedics while on the loose. Knowing that they still loved each other, Boyd promised Ava he would help stall Raylan while stealing Avery Markham (Sam Elliott)'s money.

In our recent recap, Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen) told Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) once she was married to Avery, she would have access to Avery's money. After Ty ran away shooting, Raylan put two bullets into Walker's back and dropped him dead. Raylan and Boyd then got a sneak peak at 3 million Avery is hiding in his bank vault. During his phone call to Rachel (Erica Tazel), Raylan figured out Boyd and Ava are working together to break into Markham's vault.

According to the plot synopsis on FX Networks' YouTube Channel, the caption states, "Raylan and Boyd each test Ava's loyalty, and Markham's plans to win over Harlan go awry."

In an interview with Yahoo TV, showrunner Graham Yost explains the significance of the title to tonight's episode, "Raylan just could sense it. He and Ava know each other too well. It's Ava doing her best to just scramble and stay alive and stay out of jail. So she had to give Raylan something, and now Boyd knows that she's a snitch, and so she's got to manage that, but it's a very difficult line for her to walk. She does give Boyd the chance, right? She does say, "We could just go now," and he doesn't take that. And we'll see how things go because of that."
