'Justified' Season 6 Spoilers: Twitter Reacts To Timothy Olyphant, Mary Steenburgen's Seabass Shocker! [WATCH]

Based on the crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season of Justified continues on FX.  Before Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) has his showdown with Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins), Twitter had lots to say as Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen) had her own shootout with Seabass (Scott Grimes).

In our previous recap, Katherine Hale told Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) once she was married to Avery, she would have access to Avery's money. After Ty ran away shooting, Raylan put two bullets into Walker's back and dropped him dead. Raylan and Boyd then got a sneak peak at the 3 million Avery is hiding in his bank vault. During his phone call to Rachel (Erica Tazel), Raylan figured out Boyd and Ava (Joelle Carter) are working together to break into Markham's vault.

In our recent recap, while Raylan met with Markham's new henchman, Boon (Jonathan Tucker), Boyd found himself chained up by Zachariah (Jeff Fahey). Though Boyd was able to break free, he still got burned by the explosion. Not only did Boyd fail to steal Avery's money, he didn't realize Katherine was a deadly adversary.

Though Seabass had her at gunpoint, Katherine wouldn't let herself be taken hostage. Pretending to give Seabass her jewelry, Katherine got to the gun in her purse and shot him in the chest.

In an interview with Yahoo TV, showrunner Graham Yost reveals how the scene came about, "I've always wanted her to shoot through a purse. I've always thought that was a nice way for someone to get to a weapon. You're just waiting to see what comes out, and what comes out is a bullet at a very high speed. It was also fun for Scott Grimes to be killed by Mary Steenburgen."

Yost describes Avery's reaction to seeing her kill someone, "He's shocked, he's impressed, and just the tiniest bit afraid. I mean, he knows that she's a criminal woman and capable of this kind of thing. Don't forget, he said to Ava back in the third episode, for a woman to survive in this business, she has to be harder than a man. He understands that, but this is the woman he loves, and there she is having shot this man twice. He has to pay attention.
