While Dakota Johnson might have played innocent and naive Anastasia Steele in the box-office smash Fifty Shades of Grey, it doesn't seem like her life is as pure as her onscreen character's was before diving in to the erotic world of BDSM. The star, who has faced drug and alcohol addition, when she was just 17, could possibly be facing a relapse thanks to the new pressures she is facing being Hollywood's new "It Girl." According to Radar Online, the 25-year-old star has some addiction genes in her family, as her mom Melanie Griffith and dad Don Johnson have both been to rehab during their time in the spotlight. Mel has checked herself into treatment facilities on three different occasions, while Don has been to rehab twice.

Addiction specialist Dr. Damon Raskin spoke out to the news site, which explained that being a hot commodity in Hollywood could definitely be a stressor that might lead people to go back to their addictions.

"It is not unusual that environmental triggers lead to relapse," Raskin explained. "It is definitely a stressor to be in the limelight with the worldwide scrutiny and attention being paid to her, and this could easily lead to her relapsing."

Not just that, but being the offspring of two former addicts leaves Johnson at a predisposition already.

According to The National Enquirer, it seems Johnson's pals and family are worried that her rise to fame could possibly see her fall back on her old ways.

A friend spoke out to the news site talking about Johnson when she was 17, saying, "Dakota was out of control at the time, and if she didn't get help, she may have very well ended up dead or in jail."
