There is good news and bad news for PlayStation One Piece fans in the United States. The good news is One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 has a March 29 release date. The bad news is that it's the Japanese release. All we know is that it'll come out sometime in summer 2015.

PW3 follows the legendary Dynasty Warriors slash system and has 36 playable characters. What you'll see in the trailer is that Luffy, Buggy, Mihawk, Morgan, Don Kreig and so many more will be at your disposal.

The big difference between PW3 and the previous PW games is that this one follows the story more while no. 2 was non-canon and created its own. The sequel starts you off at Luffy's beginnings in Fushia Village and you'll be able to fill in the holes to how he can achieve Pirate King status as you see fit.

Those who purchase the Japanese version will also have the chance to play as Sabo in the One Piece: Treasure Cruiser smartphone game. All you have to do is redeem the code that comes with PW3.

If you want every member of the Straw Hat Crew to follow you around, you're more than welcome with PW3. With Fujitora, Trafalgar Law and Sabo by your side, players will be able to travel through Marineford, Fishman Island, Punk Hazard and the kingdom of Dressrosa.

Sadly, Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners will be left out of PW3. If you really want to play it, you'll need to pick up a PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita or PC.

The extremely successful 18-year-old manga spanning more than 500 chapters received lukewarm success with the first two installments of Pirate Warriors, so Bandai hopes to rectify that with PW3. PW1 received a 65.3 percent from Gamerankings, 64/100 from Metacritic, 6/10 from IGN and 4/10 from GameSpot. The only site that gave the game an over-the-top review was Famitsu with 36/40.

Its sequel did a little better. IGN gave it another lukewarm 6.5 and Metacritic gave it a 7.8. Those who purchased the game through Amazon gave it mostly positive reviews, as the median of all the scores came out to a 4.4/5.
