'RHONJ' Season 7 Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice Salary Feud: Sister-in-Law Making Huge 6-Figure Salary for New Season

When one queen bee falls, there's always another one waiting in the wings to take her place. In RHONJ star Teresa Giudice's case, her replacement comes from none other than her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga. That's right: While Giudice is in prison serving her sentence for committing fraud, Gorga has been there waiting in the wings to take up the reins, and it seems like Bravo is more than happy to have Melissa step into Teresa's stilettos. According to Radar Online, the network is even going to be shelling out a hefty sum to put Melissa in the starring role on the upcoming Season 7, a price that is equal to what Teresa was making last year. That means Teresa's sister-in-law will be making a huge, six-figure salary for the new season.

"Melissa has been given a raise in her new contract," an insider explained to the news site. "Her new salary now matches Teresa's old one. Melissa has always been highly paid but now she's getting the same amount of money that Teresa used to get."

Gorga was also the second highest-paid member of the show last year, only behind Teresa, as the site reported that she was making $250,000 for the season.

While there were rumors that the show would be on hiatus now that Teresa is in jail for the next few months, the site is reporting that the network has decided to put the show back into production with or without its leading girl.

"They want the franchise to continue no matter what now," the insider explained.

Should Gorga be making $750,000 as reported, she would now have a salary comparable to that of RHOA's NeNe Leakes and RHONY's Bethenny Frankel, but of which are reported to be pulling in a cool $1 million for their involvement with the show.

While the new reports are claiming the show will go on, according to The Inquistr, Bravo has yet to confirm that Season 7 is even in the works.
