There's no denying the fact that showrunner Bryan Fuller has a great relationship with his fans, especially with the communication capabilities of Twitter. This week, the Pushing Daisies creator shared a number or updates and teasers about the highly anticipated 3rd season of Hannibal, premiering June 4, 2015 on NBC. We learned some details about new characters, recently announced directors and plenty more thanks to these tweets, so check them out below for more on the upcoming episodes of the critically acclaimed series!

Recent reports named two directors for the upcoming season (via Slash Film). Returning helmer Vincenzo Natali is set to direct the first three episodes of the new season, while Game of Thrones episode director Neil Marshall is coming on to direct the show's eighth episode, which Fuller revealed is titled "The Great Red Dragon." Marshall also directed The Descent.

This episode title is clearly a reference to Francis Dolarhyde, the character from Thomas Harris' novel Red Dragon, portrayed by The Hobbit actor Richard Armitage in the NBC series. In fact, Fuller shared some character information regarding Dolarhyde, with concept art on Twitter:

Fuller also gave us a great tease about the season opener, entitled "Antipasto" in another tweet (via UPROXX):
