If you're a coffee-drinker then you undoubtedly heard about Starbucks' #RaceTogether campaign. As a way to bring up the subject of race with their customers, the baristas at Starbucks were told to write "Race Together" on the side of every cup they serve. The hope was the act would serve as a conversation starter. Unfortunately, all it seemed to do was create criticism and backlash. Which is exactly why the famed coffee company canceled the idea after one week in practice. And while we've all got our thoughts on it, perhaps none of them are as entertaining as The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore's recent segment.

Wilmore kicked off last night's episode saying that he didn't sleep at all over the weekend because he had "43 lattes since Starbucks announced their Race Together campaign..."

He later joked that what really went down was not the fact that Starbucks got "blasted" for having a conversation about race, but for "wanting to have a conversation about race." Something the host further noted as all the more reason to have a conversation about race.

"We can't even talk about talking about it!" he joked.

Check out Wilmore's report from last night's Nightly Show here:

Readers, if you wanted to talk about race with your local barista, when would it be? Would you agree that "the place is nowhere and the time is never"? Let us know below!

Apparently there are quite a few people thrilled at the fact that they won't have to talk about race with Starbucks baristas anymore...
