Starbucks Canceled #RaceTogether Campaign: 'Nightly Show' Host Larry Willmore Has Some Thoughts

If you’re a coffee-drinker then you undoubtedly heard about Starbucks’ #RaceTogether campaign. As a way to bring up the subject of race with their customers, the baristas at Starbucks were told to write “Race Together” on the side of every cup they serve. The hope was the act would serve as a conversation starter. Unfortunately, all it seemed to do was create criticism and backlash. Which is exactly why the famed coffee company canceled the idea after one week in practice.
