Ahead of its April release date, Netflix has released new images, promo, and poster on Facebook for their upcoming superhero series, Marvel's Daredevil. In their origin story, will audiences witness Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) getting "knocked down" by his nemesis, Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio)?

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals have given him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be a blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice protecting Hell's Kitchen against crime.

The official Facebook page released the first motion poster, which features a burry image of Murdock hitting a punching bag. The caption states, "Sometimes when you get knocked down, you can still win."

We then see the ensemble cast together (shown above) in one shot for "Someone has to stand up for what is right. #Daredevil."

Fisk (D'Onofrio) shows up in "Alliances are being formed in Hell's Kitchen. #Daredevil"

And Fisk can ber heard in the new promo, as the caption states, "Let's get to work. #Daredevil"

We mentioned here, Marvel announced actor Scott Glenn (Silence of the Lambs) was joining the cast as Murdock's blind mentor, Stick, who trained him how to fight and heighten his senses.

Glenn reveals to Nuke the Fridge how exciting it was to part of the Marvel Universe, "I'm a blind assassin and a martial arts master. So it meant aside from doing what you normally have to do as an actor such as making real emotional connections with the people you're working with to move the story along and things like that, it also meant that you would have to be doing a ton of martial arts. I mean real Hong Kong Bruce Lee martial arts...blind. I don't want to get into too much of the show but I was going to have to deal with that stuff for the first time in my life, so that was exciting, demanding and fun."

In a video interview with IGN, the Sucker Punch actor also discussed doing stunt work as a blind man in the Netflix show.
