Viewers are just a week away from the Season 7 premiere of the critically acclaimed Mad Men on AMC. In the final episodes, this will be the last time audiences watch Don Draper (Jon Hamm), Betty Francis (January Jones), Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks), and Sally Draper (Kiernan Shipka) on their television screen.

As we previously mentioned, in the first half of Mad Men's final season, the just-fired Don Draper (Hamm) was trying to get his job back. While Don faced struggles with his failing marriage with Megan (Jessica Paré), he also dealt with opposition at work from Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) and Joan (Hendricks). It took the death of Bertram Cooper (Robert Morse) to shake things and wake up Roger Sterling (John Slattery) to save his failing ad agency.

Here is our 5 reasons why you should see the final episodes of Mad Men:

1) The New SC&P

With Cooper's death forcing him to step up, Roger made a deal to make his ad agency an independent subsidiary of McCann Erickson. To get the money and save the business, Roger, Don, and Ted Chaough (Kevin Rahm) each signed their five-year contracts. What's going to happen next? Did Don learn anything from Bert's dance number? How will everyone learn "the party is really over?"

2) The Wardrobe

The first half of season 7 ended on July 16, 1969, the date of the first moon landing. The costume department has done a fantastic dob with the outfits, creating that '60s to '70s vibe. A style all her own, Joan (Hendricks) always looks eye-catching when she walks into a room.

3) How They Changed Since First Season

Did you notice how sad Peggy Olson (Moss) got when her kid neighbor said he was moving? That's because Peggy treated him like her son; reminding her of the child she gave up before. Have you also seen how fat Pete Campbell (Vincent Kartheiser) has gotten in the teaser trailers? And his thinning hair line; what the hell's going on there? Man, he's so smug!

4) For Your Emmy Consideration

In the first season, one of Don's best moments happened when he gave an incredibly moving speech during his presentation to Kodak. During his pitch, Draper explained to the company that their photo wheel wasn't really a wheel at all, but a carousel that fills their customers with nostalgia. The show has 7 tries to top that scene.

5) The Blue Comet

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner wrote the penultimate episode of award-winning The Sopranos. This is the episode, which felt like a series finale in its own right, where Tony Soprano (the late James Gandolfini) lost his crew and became involved in a mob war. The episode ended with a paranoid Tony staring at the door, with a shotgun in hair. Now imagine Weiner ending his own show!

The final season of Mad Men begins April 5 at 10pm on AMC.
