'Justified' Season 6: Ep 11 'Fugitive Number One' Recap: Will Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins Catch Ava?

Based on the popular crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season of Justified continues on FX with Episode 11. Are Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant), and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) going to catch up with Ava Crowder (Joelle Carter), their 'Fugitive Number One?'

At the Marshal's office, everyone is on the search for Ava. Art (Nick Searcy) tells Rachel (Erica Tazel) he has just been chewed out by their superiors. Raylan visits Boyd in the hospital, disappointed he didn't get to shoot him. They both want to go searching for Ava and money, especially Markham and his boys. 

Boyd tells Raylan that the man they're looking for is Zachariah (Jeff Fahey). Ava and Zachariah are on the move through the mountains, pulling the money with them. After getting a call from Mikey (Jonathan Kowalsky), Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen) finds Avery Markham (Sam Elliott) sitting on her bed. Avery is still in love with her; he just doesn't trust her. 

Katherine goes after Wynn Duffy (Jere Burns) as Avery chases after Boyd. Betrayed by family, Mikey refuses to talk with Wynn and hits him for being a rat. Boon (Jonathan Tucker) sits in the backseat, scaring Loretta (Kaitlyn Dever). After threatening her, Boon gives her back his gun.

While Tim (Jacob Pitts) and Raylan head off into the mountains, Boyd's crew get a visit from Avery and Boon in prison. Telling them they're pawns, Avery reveals Boyd screwed them over and offers one of them a job. Raylan and Tim find an empty hideout, realizing Ava has been there.

Because he's in trouble, Vasquez thinks Raylan and Ava stole the money together. With a helicopter on the way, Art needs Raylan to head back. While Raylan gets in the car and drives back, Carl breaks into Boyd's room and points a gun at him. With Earle's life on the line, Boyd offers Carl 5 million to help him break out. Dressed as a cop, Boyd puts a bullet in Carl and drops him dead.

Raylan is at the hospital and asks Tim for a couple of hours. Knowing he's dealing with crooked cops, Raylan threatens them and gets Earle away from them. Katherine meets with Wynn, takes her gun out, and shoots Mikey to death. He breaks Katherine's throat before dying and gives Wynn the keys to the handcuffs. Wynn holds Mickey until he dies and makes a call to 911. 

Raylan meets with Avery and Boon, telling him about Earle's confession. Markham finds out from Raylan that Katherine died; all of this is on him. Raylan promises to protect Earle for his confession in trial. Earle mentions a man named Grooves , which is where Ava and Zachariah find him dead. 

In his cop car, Boyd aims to steal another car. Giving up his badge and gun, Raylan has 48 hours to find Ava and Boyd, or else Art will get him.
