'Arrow' Hunk Stephen Amell Cast As Casey Jones In 2016's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2' - Sequel Title Revealed? [RUMORS]

Stephen Amell already has a great fan base due to his leading role on the CW's Arrow, taking on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, but is he ready to expand his work into another universe? According to his Twitter account and plenty of new reports, the actor is stepping into the role of Casey Jones for the sequel to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This fan-favorite character has been the subject of rumors, so its great to see a good actor cast in the role! Plus, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 could have another title: Half-Shell! Variety broke this news, claiming Amell was one of a number of actors that auditioned for the roles, but once he did some screen tests with April O'Neil actress Megan Fox, he was hired based on the chemistry between them. It probably also doesn't hurt that the actor is in peak physical form, as evident in his TV series, in which he's often shirtless and/or working out.

Besides this casting news, a rumor is spreading claiming that this new movie might have a new title besides just a number "2." According to ComicBook.com, this sequel could be called Half-Shell, which is certainly a pretty cool name if you ask us!
