Idris Elba Heartbreak! 'James Bond' Future Ruined by Daniel Craig?

For all you Idris Elba fans out there, looks like there will be no James Bond role for this man! MStars News has learned that that actor is claiming those rumors of Elba becoming the next James Bond have been shattered by Bond himself, aka Daniel Craig!

According to People, Elba blamed Craig for spreading the rumor that he'd be the next James Bond. In a new interview at at London's British Film Institute, Elba revealed that he has never spoke to Bond producers about becoming the next 007 but claims Craig is the one who set off the idea of Elba snatching the role.

"Daniel Craig actually set the rumor off. About four years ago he said Idris Elba would be a great Bond, and then it started to creep," Elba explained.

Before everyone gets mad, and starts feeling some type of way, Elba made sure that everyone knew he was joking when he said, "I blame Daniel."

MStars News previously reported that Sony hacked emails may have revealed that Bond was set to get a new star of the film.

Daniel Craig allegedly wanted out and recommended Elba for the job.

"I've been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it. But they won't let me go, and I've agreed to do a couple more, but let's see how this one does, because business is business and if the sh*t goes down, I've got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their ass with," the email reportedly read.

So where is Craig right now? According to The Guardian, Craig is recovering from a knee surgery that he suffered during the filming of James Bond film Spectre.

People reported that Elba was thrilled at the fact that James Bond could be in the future cards for his acting career, but now it seems those hopes may be doomed.

"Honestly, it's a rumor that's really starting to eat itself," Elba stated. "If there was ever any chance of me getting Bond, it's gone."

Thank goodness Elba has more up his sleeves besides acting. The sexy stud also enjoys music, producing, and has even worked with K. Michelle in the past.

Elba premiered a new documentary that he produced that was inspired by his Nelson Mandela album. Elba is currently working on a new album that is inspired by his new TV series, Luther.

The actor also revealed some musical artists that he'd like to work with in the future. Elba said, "Musically, I would like to work with any one of the Marley brothers, I would like to work with Janelle Monae, Adele."

Elba also has other duties besides being a sexy star! He's also a father.

MStars News previously reported that the star welcomed his second child, a baby boy Winston Elba with his partner, Naiyana Garth last April.

Elba also has a daughter, Isan Elba from a previous relationship.
