A few months ago the world got to see a few quick glimpses of the reboot for Marvel's Fantastic Four. It wasn't much, though. We got an idea of what their suits looked like and only the back of The Thing, aka Ben Grimm. With the late-summer release just around the corner, though, images of The Thing have finally hit the 'Net. He's everything you'd expect him to be, but better.

You can check the image out via ComicBook.com's Twitter page.

The film's director Josh Trank told Empire Online that Grimm's actor, Jamie Bell, is perfect for the part.

"Jamie in real life is a tough guy," Trank told Empire recently. "He exudes this strength. Ben is Reed's best friend in the archetypal, spiritual way, and you want that character to have that warmth and that strength."

Fantastic Four's 2015 release is scheduled for Aug. 7. Bell will, of course, be The Thing, Johnny Storm will be played by Michael B. Jordan, the Invisible Woman will be played by Kate Mara of House of Cards fame and the team's leader Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic will be played by Miles Teller. In preparation for the film, the cast was told not to read the original comics in order to make the characters their own.

"We were actually kind of told to not necessarily ingest everything because we were looking to kind of put our stamp on it," Teller told MTV News. "Obviously, we were looking to pay respect to the history of the characters, but at the same time, kind of bring them up to date, and to humanize them in a way that hadn't been done in a while."

Teller also said he would love for the Fantastic Four to do a film crossover with the X-Men.

"I would love to kick it with Wolverine," he said. "I don't know what we would talk about."

It'll be interesting to see what direction Trank will take the series.
