Audiences have been anxiously binge-watching the highly anticipated Netflix premiere of Marvel's Daredevil. In Episodes 1-5 recaps, viewers were introduced to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) in the live-action version of the popular comic book.

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be the blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice as he protects Hell's Kitchen from The Kingpin (D'Onofrio).

Check out our 5 thoughts on Marvel's Daredevil Episodes 1-5:

5) World on Fire

Recap: Vladimir (Nikolai Nikolaeff) is ready to start a mob war after he discovers his brother's decapitated body. While Daredevil is framed for his brother's murder, Karen and Foggy (Elden Henson) take care of an elderly tenant who is being forced out of her building. On his second date with Vanessa (Ayelet Zurer), Fisk makes his next move against his rival and blows up half of Hell's Kitchen.

Review: One of the highlights of the show is the natural chemistry between Woll and Henson. What I really like about the subplot between Wilson and Vanessa is that it feels Goodfellas-like, meaning it's a mob wife's story.

4) In the Blood

Recap: Brothers Vladimir (Nikolaeff) and Anatoly (Gideon Emery) have fallen on Wilson Fisk's bad side. When they try to make a truce with the crime lord, Anatoly makes a fool of Fisk during his first date with Vanessa. Daredevil has to rescue Claire after she gets kidnapped.

Review: Poor Anatoly; that was a brutal death! Wilson beat his face to a pulp and smashed his head in with the passenger door. This is the most graphic and gory scene of the 5 episodes!

3) Rabbit in a Snow Storm

Recap: After his hit-man is cornered by the police during a botched assassination, Wesley hires Murdock and Foggy to handle his case. Realizing they are both being manipulated by Fisk, Murdock discovers the jury has been tampered with. Vondie Curtis-Hall makes his debut as investigative journalist Ben Urich.

Review: This is the episode where D'Onofrio finally shows up in all his glory. The title refers to the painting Wilson is looking at. MStars had a first look at this scene back at New York Comic Con. We loved it seeing back then with a packed audience and recommend seeing the show with a friend!

2) Cut Man

Recap: After a rescue mission gone horribly bad, a wounded Daredevil is being taken care of by nurse Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson). While Karen and Foggy spend the night bar-hopping, Daredevil has to protect Claire from the Russians. Daredevil is willing to torture to get back the kidnapped boy.

Review: Stop whatever you are doing and watch the freaking fight scene at the end! I don't know how they did it but they Birdman-ed this fight sequence. Like the Oldboy brawl, the scene looks like it's done in one long take.

1) Into the Ring

Recap: Matt and Foggy open their law practice and their first case is a doozy. Karen wakes up next to a dead body and finds the murder weapon in her hands. Daredevil has to protect from a hired-hitman who is determined to keep her quiet.

Review: That's the cold opening! We start the story with a fight scene at the docks! No one told me the show was going to be funny! Woll, Henson, and Cox are just amazing together when they're on-screen together.

Marvel's Daredevil is now available on Netflix.
