The Batman prequel, Gotham, returns from hiatus on Fox with all-new episode. In Episode 19, Beasts of Prey,  Are Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie), Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), and Oswald Copplepot (Robin Lord Taylor) ready to face a deadlier threat, known as the serial killer, The Ogre (Milo Ventimiglia)?

Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) walks throughout the mental institution, escapes, and sets off the alarms. She stares at the helicopter and meets The Catcher, who promises to shoot her if she makes the same mistake again.

Jim meets with Bruce (David Mazouz) about Alfred's condition and confronts him about the lies. It's not his fight to go after the man who stabbed him. Because the cop thinks he can make a difference, Jim is asked to take over a nasty case . Leslie Tompkins (Morena Baccarin) looks into the case and realizes their perpetrator is a monster.

Fish tells a prisoner about the helicopter and indeed to die-trying to get to escape. Though he's wounded, Alfred (Sean Pertwee) thinks he knows he can find Reggie. Unfortunately, Alfred gets a sharp pain in his stomach after his wound reopens. To accept his offer, Penguin is asked to bring a girl back to her mother.

Though Harvey is reluctant to accept the case, Jim gets Nygma (Corey Michael Smith) to follow up on a lead. Fish needs the strongest killers in the prison to help out with the escape. Jim and Harvey ask around about one of the female victims and get info about her date. In the flashback, the Ogre flirts with his victim and takes her to his place,

Harvey realizes Jim won't back down from the case. Penguin gets a weird sensation when he almost crosses paths with Bruce. Penguin cuts off the guitar player's fingers to make him give up his girl. Leslie, Harvey, and Jim hypothesize the victim wasn't a runaway but was actually kidnapped. In the flashbacks, the Ogre won't let his victim leave the room.

The Dollmaker (Colm Feore) catches Fish as she snatches the keys from his desk. He points a gun at her, thinking she's planning to escape. Fish acts though she is scared of him, afraid of becoming one of his creations.

Bruce finds Selina (Camren Bicondova) because he needs help to find Reggie. Penguin delivers the girl just as promised. Nygma discovers the broken heart, which frightens Bullock. This is the work of a serial killer Bullock has faced before. In the flashback, the Ogre takes snapshots of his victim, adds her picture to his collection, and slits her throat.

Penguin has found the place where he wants to kill Sal Maroni. During the escape, Dollmaker shows up because he figured out she lied to him. The gates ion, letting loose to the prisoners. Dolllmaker lies beaten on the floor as the escapees realize they have been setup. They are gunned down while Fish gets shot during her helicopter ride.

Bullock explains how the Ogre works and how he became the GCPD's dirty secret. The Ogre goes after the cop's loved ones if they try to arrest him. Jim realizes he has been setup.

Kyle and Bruce find a drugged-out Reggie, who warns them about the people who hired him. Selina pushes him out the window when Bruce can't. Bruce finds Reggie dead on the floor.

Jim promises to catch The Ogre and go after Commissioner Loeb next.
