Audiences have been binge-watching the highly anticipated Marvel's Daredevil since the Netflix premiere. In Episodes 1-13, viewers kept their eyes on Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) as she became a sidekick to Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and an nemesis to Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) in the live-action version of the popular comic book.

As we previously mentioned, Matt Murdock (Cox) was a young boy when he was struck blind after a near fatal car accident. Though everyone thinks he lives in complete darkness, radioactive chemicals gave him back his sight. By day, Murdock pretends to be the blind lawyer attending courtroom battles. But when darkness falls, Daredevil serves out his own brand of justice as he protects Hell's Kitchen from The Kingpin (D'Onofrio).

Check out our 5 reasons why we loved Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page here:

5) Her Introduction

In the first episode, IntoThe Ring, we're introduced to Karen Page right away. Jumping into the story, Karen wakes up next to the dead body and with the murder weapon in her bloody hands. Because that opening alone gets viewers hooked, the True Blood actress has to add a flair of mystery, a bit of femme fatale-ish, because her character has a hidden secret.

4) The Group Dynamic

The chemistry between Woll, Charlie Cox, and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) is just phenomenal. They click right away when the scene switches from dramatic to comedic. She's not taking anything away from the dynamic. The Mother's Day scream queen is adding to the charisma that's already planted there between the two main leads.

3) She's More Than The Love Interest

In Cut Man, Karen (Woll) and Foggy are going bar-hopping as they try to relieve some stress from a long day. The witty banter just easily rolls off their tongue in their scenes. It feels like the two genuinely like each other. You suspect a love triangle forming between three, but then Page steals the show by speaking Spanish in front of an elderly client. Karen is more than just the love interest; she's actually useful to the team.

2) His Girl Friday

This critic enjoyed the scenes between reporter Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) and Page because their investigative act feels like a darker version of The Front Page. Because he's a journalist and not a blogger, Urich is willing to chase after the story at any cost. Page shows she's just as dogged and stubborn as Daredevil and Wilson Fisk (D'Onofrio) when it comes to cleaning up Hell's Kitchen.

1) The Path of the Righteous (Spoilers!!)

My heart was beating fast during that scene between James Wesley (Toby Leonard Moore) and Karen. It was all kinds of scary, especially when Karen picked up that gun!! The jaw-dropping conclusion demonstrated how Woll is able to capture a strong, determined, and yet flawed protagonist.
