Keeping Up With The Kardashians co-star Kylie Jenner wants teen fans to know they shouldn't try her full-lipped look at home. Jenner's response to the viral #KylieJennerChallenge encourages teens to "be themselves" and experiment with new beauty looks safely, especially when attempting to imitate her dramatic puffy lips. "I'm not here to try & encourage people/young girls to look like me or to think this is the way they should look. I want to encourage people/young girls like me to be YOURSELF & not be afraid to experiment [with] your look," Jenner tweeted Tuesday night.

Jenner has previously spoken out to fans looking to copy her style. "I never feel pressure to be a good role model. I always try to do my best to inspire people to be good and do the right thing, but I just can't live my life always trying to be a good role model," she said earlier this year. Unfortunately, it looks like fans didn't heed her warning.

Jenner's recent tweets come following reports of the viral #KylieJennerChallenge, a trend that has teens sucking on shot glasses in an attempt to achieve Jenner's lip look. Jenner's fans posted photos of the results of the experiment on social media, many depicting graphic images of dangerously swollen lips, lacerations, and other injuries from the #KylieJennerChallenge gone wrong. As POPSUGAR's Emily Orofino writes, "because the glass isn't flexible[...]the shot glass can break under all the pressure, causing serious injuries that require stitches to repair."

Reportedly, the #KylieJennerChallenge has also come under fire for promoting harmful racist sterotypes. According to Orofino, "Women of color on Instagram are pointing out that until Kylie made supersize lips a "trend," naturally lush-lipped ladies were taunted for their big features." She quotes Instagram user melissad071988 who wrote, "Big lips have been a source of ridicule for black people for practically forever, and now because this little girl comes on the scene with her fake lips, you want to pretend like it's the new 'It thing?!'" Orofino also quotes Instagram user officialblackbeauties: "It's funny how these same full lips were mocked less than a century ago. It's funny how this same brown skin was mocked before the invention of tanning beds. My features have always been beautiful. It doesn't take the recognition of someone else to decide whether or not you're beautiful or not."
