'Mad Men' Season 7: Ep 11: 'Time & Life' Recap: Will Jon Hamm's Don Draper Save His Business?

The final episodes of Season 7 from the critically acclaimed Mad Men continue on AMC. In episode 11, are Don Draper (Jon Hamm), Roger Sterling (John Slattery), and Joan Holloway (Christina Hendricks) ready to solve problems within their business in 'Time & Life?'

Cosgrove (Aaron Staton) is sitting with Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) at a restaurant for their Ziploc account. Ken makes Pete suffer but when Don arrives; he takes easy. Don gets a call from Diana twice but no on recorded the message. Roger  tells Joan he has to fire somebody for not paying the lease. 

Trudy (Alison Brie) calls Pete, telling him their daughter is on the wait list or school. Roger's secretaries didn't know about the lease payment and they have it on the down low. Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) has to del with little children in her focus group. Stanley is actually doing a better job with the children than Peggy. 

Roger realizes bad news is coming. Because the rent is too high, McCann is moving and swallowing up their agency firm. Pete has to speak with Peggy about what's going o in the office; the agency is being absorbed by McCann.  Pete has to go with them because of his contract, but he doesn't want to.

Joan calls Richard (Bruce Greenwood) for comfort and tells her he's flying over. Don just lies on his couch until he gets a business call from Lou (Allan Havey). It turns out Lou is moving to Tokyo because his cartoon has been bought. Lou tells him to enjoy the rest of his miserable life.

Don realizes their might be conflict of interest with clients, but if they setup business in California, they could save there jobs. Peggy gets advice that she could go to McCann while Ken is smooth-talked by Pete and Roger. Ken has toyed with them long enough, tells them no and walks out.

Ted realizes it should have been Don who went to California, and not him. Ted is dating an college ex and is really happy with his new relationship. Pete and Trudy pretend to be happy with the school's headmaster. Unfortunately, Pete's ancestry killed the headmaster's clan in bad blood. After offending Trudy, Pete punches out the headmaster. 

After talking to Trudy, Pete convinces an old client to join them. Peggy tells Stanley about McCann when a little girl staples her finger. Peggy argues with the mother of a child actress as Stanley yells, "How the hell that turned into that?"

During the meeting, Don tries to make a pitch but he's interrupted. They are dying and going into to advertising heaven. Don and Joan hug before she leaves the bar. Though Don is hesitant, Ted is happy about the move to a bigger business.

In the taxi, Pete tells Joan that McCann doesn't know who they are dealing with. Stanley and Peggy argue about children, which leads to the child she left behind. Peggy reveals she moved on but her son is with a family somewhere. You're not supposed to know or you can't carry on with your life.  Stanley apologizes before Peggy goes back to work. 

Roger and Don are the last people in the bar; what's in a name they argue. Roger is still seeing with Megan's mother. Don doesn't argue Roger;he's happy for him but she's crazy. 

Don discovers Diana has moved on from her old apartment. Meredith doesn't know if she going with him to McCann, everyone is living in a fright. 

Peggy tells Stanley that she's going to McCann. At the meeting, everyone in the office is sacred of the news. No one wants to hear Don as he says this is the beginning of something, not the end.
