Now this is how you bury a hatchet. Taylor Swift and Kanye West shocked the world earlier this year when they were spotted breaking bread and talking at the Grammy Awards in February, but the news gets even weirder. It seems that the 1989 singer and the Yeezus musician might actually be recording a collaboration together. Yup, you read that right, the two might be getting into the studio together, even after the controversy that rocked the world during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Kim Kardashian's hubby tried to give Tay Tay's moon man to Beyoncé. This duet news makes us wonder, will Swift and John Mayer ever reconcile for the sake of some good music?

E! News sat down with the "Style" singer to get to the bottom of this crazy news, asking about her relationship with the rapper now that a few years have passed since the infamous incident.

"We've hung out, gone to dinner, talked and he's one of those people who's always throwing out ideas, so that was one of the ideas that was thrown out," the singer explained to the news site saying that a collab might be in the works.

However, when asked if she would be singing on one of his track, or if he would be helping the starlet out on her next project, she told the news site that it hasn't been ironed out just yet.

"There were lots of other ideas he has, you can imagine," the singer explained. "But, no creative decision has been made up about the next record."

Kanye gave a little more detail to Ryan Seacrest, where he further elaborated on his relationship with the former country singer.

"She wants to get in the studio and we're definitely going to go in," the Dark Twisted Fantasy singer explained. "Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in the studio and work."
