The countdown has begun as the final 3 episodes of The Flash arrives on the CW network. As The Reverse-Flash continues his evil plans in Episode 21,will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) discover what is Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh)'s "fixation" on Iris West (Candice Patton)?

In our previous recap, Eddie (Rick Cosnett) was framed by the Everyman, who pretended to be him in a police shootout. While the Everyman confused the Flash and kept changing faces, Cisco, Joe (Jesse L. Martin), and Captain Lance (Paul Blackthorne) discovered the rotten corpse of the real Harrison Wells. After capturing Everyman and clearing Eddie from charges, Barry and his friends discovered the secret lair and the Reverse-Flash suit.

In our recent recap, Cisco, Caitlin, Joe, and Barry were working together to get Harrison Wells to confess to murdering Nora Allen. Unfortunately, Wells was always a step ahead of them because of the cameras he set up everywhere. The Reverse-Flash then kidnapped Eddie just as he was about to propose to Iris. Just when the scarlet speedster promised to find Eddie, Candice realized the man behind the red suit is Barry.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg reveals the process of adapting a comic book into the show, "With the comics, you're following multiple stories with multiple writers. People are constantly retconned and revised, backstories are revised and motivations are changed. In some ways, it's good for us because it allows us to cherry-pick the best parts that we feel work for us. There's definitely a confrontation between the Reverse Flash and Iris coming up, which is fairly exciting. It's not necessarily the Iris fixation that was in that run of the comics."

Kreisberg teases another interaction between Eddie and Eobard Thawne, "The fact that they have the same name is not a coincidence. It's something that we've known about since the very beginning of the series. All of that stuff is starting to come to fruition."

The Flash continues on Tuesdays at 8pm on the CW.
