Fox News host of The O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly, is finding himself in some hot water as of late––and not because of some controversial things he said on his show. It's being reported that the famed right-winger is being accused of physically assaulting and beating his ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy. Naturally, O'Reilly is now denying any of that happened.

According to a new report from Gawker, it's been (supposedly) uncovered that O'Reilly once attacked his ex, grabbed her by the neck and dragged her down some stairs. The report is from "a source familiar with the facts of the case," – speaking of the three-year custody battle between O'Reilly and McPhilmy following their 2010 divorce.

The Gawker report notes that the anchor's daughter "claimed to have witnessed" the aforementioned attack. Of course, the Fox News host was "unaware that the daughter was watching."

As mentioned, O'Reilly is denying the fact that he dragged McPhilmy down the stairs by her neck. He released a statement to Politico's Dylan Byers saying, "All allegations against me in these circumstances are 100% false. I am going to respect the court-mandated confidentiality put in place to protect my children and will not comment any further."

Now, we're not saying that O'Reilly has a temper, but we have seen him blow up a few times in the past.

So, um, yeah.
