The long-awaited Entourage film is being released this coming June 3, folks. Leading up to the event, the HBO series creator, and film writer/director, Doug Ellin, has been pimping out the Sex and the City comparison for a while now. Recently, he stopped by HuffPost Live to talk about the film, the series and even those haters.

Ellin kicked off his interview by discussing his shock that it's been 11 years since the pilot episode aired on HBO:

"It's surreal, you know? When we started we were hoping to get one episode, so to be here this many years later, it's pretty amazing."

The interview went on to talk about the story of the film, which is basically that star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) now wants to direct his first film. Furthermore, HuffPost and Ellin talked about some haters of the show, with the interviewer referencing the fact that a Kickstarter campaign was aimed at stopping the Entourage film from being made, and supposedly locked in over $3 million. Of course, this didn't seem to faze Ellin, who pretty much noted that there's always going to be people who don't like what you're making. Also, he just doesn't believe it happened.

Take a look at the full HuffPost interview below:

So, some takeaways from the interview:

- UFC is NOT wrestling.
- Doug Ellin doesn't think HuffPost does research––re: the Kickstarter incident.
- Entourage never wanted to be politically correct, which is apparent.
- Mark Wahlberg has the life.
- Doug Ellin might be right about HuffPost's lack-of-research––re: "wrestling" and the mistep of who the real Johnny Drama actually is.
- We really, really, really cannot wait until June 3.
