The adventurous tale of Johnny Utah is coming back to the big screen in 2015 in one of the most talked about movie remakes of recent time - Point Break. Originally starring Keanu Reaves and Patrick Swayze, this action thrill ride is getting a modern reboot at the hands of new cast members édgar Ramírez, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer and Ray Winstone. Mixing more extreme sports into the plot, this band robbing heist flick is sure to attract an audience on it holiday release date. Watch the first trailer for the Point Break remake below!

From what we can tell from this new trailer, the Point Break concept is still there, but this new film just adds in a handful of other extreme sports that lead to a ton more action and suspense. Though the title is a reference to surfing, that's only one of the activities we get to witness in the upcoming movie.

Utah still has to go under cover in order to catch his targets, and it looks like he has to learn some of the extreme sports in the process- but is this remake going to satisfy fans of the original?

In Alcon Entertainment's fast-paced, high-adrenaline action thriller "Point Break," a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes - led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways. Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes.
