Looks like Love & Basketball doesn't last always for this newly married couple! MStars News has learned that WNBA star Brittney Griner requested an annulment from her new wife, Glory Johnson, after they tied the knot only 28 days ago. What's worse, the couple just announced that they were expecting their first child together!

MStars News previously reported that the couple were married May 8, in an outdoor ceremony at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Phoenix resort with around 75 people as their witnesses, a few weeks after both were arrested in Arizona on domestic violence charges.

This week, right before Griner announced that she wanted an annulment, Johnson revealed that she was expecting.

"It has always been a dream of mine to start a family with someone I love," Johnson said in a statement provided by the Tulsa Shock. "Being a professional athlete that plays year round, there is never a perfect time to get pregnant without putting my career on hold.

"The entire process, from learning our fertility options, to making sacrifices necessary nine months before the child is born, is merely preparing me to become a great wife and an even better mother."

Now it appears that the former Say Yes to the Dress stars are headed for splitsville!

"Last Wednesday, Glory and I agreed to either legally separate, get divorced, or annul our marriage," Griner stated Friday. "I can confirm that today I filed for an annulment. In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it. I now realize that was a mistake."

Court documents allegedly revealed that Griner's reasoning for the split includes: "void based on fraud," and that "Petitioner was pressured into marriage under durress by Respondent's threatening statements."

Griner claims that her soon-to-be ex-wife knew about the oncoming annulment, but if you ask a pregnant Johnson she told TMZ that she didn't see a breakup coming her way.

Johnson's rep claims: "Glory loves Brittney and made a huge sacrifice to carry a child, put her career on hold, to invest in their relationship and their future. As a result she won't be playing this season."

Johnson posted a fresh photo right before the news hit the media of Griner holding her baby bump.

"Glory wouldn't intentionally do anything to hurt Brittney and has tried her best to protect her and their marriage. Obviously this marriage was about them starting their life together. Glory is the sweetest thing in the world and she was dedicated to their partnership," the rep continued.

"She knows how important marriage is and made a lifetime commitment and decision to spend the rest of her life with Brittney."
