In our finale recap, when The Flash slipped into the time-stream, racing across the Speed Force, he witnessed events from the past, present, and future. Not only did Barry discover The Flash museum, he also saw himself as a teenager visiting his father in prison. He also witnessed the appearance of a possible super villain in costume, Killer Frost (Panabaker).

In order to stop the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh), Eddie Thawne had to sacrifice himself and pulled the trigger. While Eddie lied dying, his future relative, Eobard Thawne was being erased from existence. When the rift in the time-stream caused a worm-hole to suddenly form, the Flash had to get back to work and repair what was broken.
