'Chrisley Knows Best' Season 3 Recap: Episode 3: 'Getting Testy': Todd & Julie Take On College!

Season 3 of the popular reality show, Chrisley Knows Best continues on USA Network. In Episode 3, Getting Testy, are parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, ready to have their home all to themselves when their daughter, Savannah, is actually thinking of moving out to college?

The children are working on their ACTs, but Chase isn't focused at all. Savannah proposes a contest about her and her brother. If Savannah outscores Chase, then Todd and Julie have to help her graduate early and move out to college.

When Julie asks what he likes about school, Grayson mentions lunch and recess. She agrees to help Grayson with his science project, sending him to her father. Julie then tries to help Savannah with her brain activity with a new diet and exercise routine. Julie wants to make sure she beats her husband. 

Harvey, Julie's Dad, is interested in making a volcano that goes "boom." Meanwhile, Todd is relaxing on the couch with Chase. Realizing they're going to lose, their training regime has to start as soon as possible. Todd cheats and hires a tutor for Chase, whose answers are based on how good they sound. 

Chase is flirting with his tutor, trying to find out if she's dating someone. Even the grandmother notices Chase is pretty dumb because he wants to screw his tutor. Two days before the test, Todd sneaks into his daughter's bedroom. 

Todd starts taking pictures of Julie and Savannah's board routine. Chase thinks they're really cheating at this point. At the park, Chase is too lazy to do middle-aged yoga and start exercising. Harvey and Grayson haven't even started on their science project. They're spending too much time at the hardware store. 

Todd tries to make a protein smoothie but he can't even attempt to drink it. Chase drinks it but cringes after the first taste. The night before the test, Chase is actually studying in bed. At breakfast, Savannah realizes Todd and Chase have been cheating.

Both parents are confident of their children testing well for the ACTs. Chase actually finished the test before Savannah. In the kitchen, the two watch Grayson painting the volcano by himself. 

Realizing his children are growing up, Todd tells Julie he's afraid of letting Savannah out of the house. They finally take a look at the test scores.  

Todd has good and bad news. Savannah did in fact outscore Chase in the ACTs. Chase gets a robot puppy for doing well on the test. Grayson brings his volcano he made to show to his parents.
