MStars News has learned that the officer involved in an aggressive arrest over the weekend at a McKinney pool party in Texas has resigned. According to The New York Times, Officer David Eric Casebolt stepped down from his job after he was seen in a viral video throwing 15-year-old Dajerria Becton in a swimsuit to the ground as he tried to handcuff her, pointing his gun at teenage boys as they tried to stop him.

According to Necole Bitchie, Becton was put in handcuffs following an altercation that happened with the pool party organizer, teen, Tatyana Rhodes, and a woman who was believed to be a resident in the neighborhood. Before the viral video that would make national news once again for racial discrimination happened, police were called after a fight broke out between Rhodes and a white woman who was also at the public pool.

Rhodes tearfully said Officer Casebolt "was just aggressive for no reason at all. It was horrible." Rhodes, her mother, and her sister were responsible for the organized pool party and cookout that chaotic friday, June 5 at the Craig Ranch neighborhood of McKinney.

Chief Greg Conley of the McKinney Police Department was the one who revealed that Officer Casebolt had resigned while the incident was under investigation. Before his resignation, Casebolt was put on administrative leave while protest demanded he'd be fired for his actions.

During a news conference, Chief Conley stated that Officer Casebolt was “indefensible.”

“He came into the call out of control and, as the video shows, was out of control during the incident.” Chief Conley revealed that "11 of the 12 officers who responded to the pool disturbance followed their training and did exactly what we wanted them to do.”

Casebolt didn't make an apology for his actions when he resigned Tuesday, according to Dallas News. "It was just a simple resignation," the chief revealed.
