'NBA LIVE 16': EA Sports Releases E3 2015 Gameplay Trailer After Russell Westbrook Cover!

After EA Sports revealed Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook is on the cover of their upcoming sports videogame, NBA Live 16 continues to gain momentum. The NBA LIVE series has released a gameplay trailer, featuring actual footage for E3 2015.

The official EA Sports site lists the brand new features in the game. Because of their latest live motion, physics-based player movement system will give the game "unparalleled control and best-in-class animation." Because the player is live connected, imagine getting in on the action through Ultimate Team, Dynasty, and Big Moment Challenges.

In an interview with Sporting News, EA SPORTS VP of Marketing Anthony Stevenson explains why they put the point guard on the cover, "Russell Westbrook is a player who can do it all, and we can't imagine a better fit for the cover of NBA LIVE 16. NBA LIVE 16 is all about self-expression, and who better embodies that than Westbrook, both on and off the court? Russell plays every game like he has something to prove. Our team is building NBA LIVE the exact same way, so we're thrilled to have him as an ambassador for our game."

Sporting News also has hi-res screenshots of players LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Nick Young, and Derrick Rose in the game. Definitely worth taking a look here:

According to Attack the Fanboy, videogame have a facial scan feature. The player will be actually be able to can their phone to scan their face. EA has made an app, where you will be able to include yourself in NBA LIVE 16.

With the season over and Golden State Warriors beating the Cleveland Cavaliers, this will be the perfect opportunity to keep busy until the next championship.

NBA LIVE 16 will be released Sept. 29, 2015 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
