This week P Diddy used a kettlebell the wrong way. When the rap mogul found out a UCLA coach was riding his son, Diddy got in the man's face and the situation escalated to a point where a kettlebell was allegedly used as a weapon. After the incident, Diddy was arrested and faced serious felony assault charges. Right now though, it looks like he'll be avoiding them. Apparently UCLA's coaching staff decided the best thing is to drop the charges entirely.

Sources close to the team said they are regretful that a fight even broke out – especially a fight where a kettlebell was used as a weapon. While yes, they have dropped the charges it's being said he isn't well liked amongst the staff. They just believe a courtroom spectacle would be really bad for the team's image.

The only reason police were called in for the alleged fight between Diddy and the coach was because an intern working for the team dialed 911. The team and head coach Jim Mora are looking to avoid any prosecution but the interns might go in a different direction. Apparently, Diddy had allegedly threatened the interns. The team just hopes they'll follow suit with Mora and not go any farther with the case.

The case will go to the L.A. County District Attorney next week. Their office could still prosecute even if no one presses charges. The fact that there is video doesn't help Diddy's case at all. Diddy claims he attacked coach Sal Alosi in self-defense. He's probably hoping right now that this claim holds up in court.

After the fight, Diddy was charged with 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, 1 count of making terrorist threats and 1 count of battery.

Do you think the charges will be dropped and Diddy will be set free?
