WWE taped the June 25, 2015 edition of Thursday Night SmackDown from Toledo, Ohio, and the main event features a match between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

The show begins with The Authority, with the exception of the legitimately injured Jamie Noble. Rollins dedicates his match to Noble. Ryback gets called out and exchanges some words with Rollins for a while. This sets up two matches: Ryback vs. Kane and Ambrose vs. Rollins.

Sheamus defeats Dolph Ziggler cleanly with the Brogue Kick in the first match of the night. As the match unfolds, Rusev tries to make peace with Lana, but she rejects him again. After the match, we see him backstage talking to Summer Rae.

Alicia Fox defeats Naomi with a roll up in a match that ends with all sorts of madness among The Bella Twins and Tamina Snuka.

JoJo interviews The New Day, but the Primetime Players interrupt them. Bo Dallas tries to join The New Day, but they can't teach him how to clap properly.

Ryback defeats Kane by disqualification when Big Show interferes. Show had also attacked Ryback before the match started. Kane and Big Show both chokeslam Ryback after the bell rings.

The Prime Time Players and The Lucha Dragons defeat The New Day and Bo Dallas when Kalisto pins Xavier Woods.

Dean Ambrose tells Roman Reigns he would help him fight Bray Wyatt, but Roman declines his offer. He finds another picture of himself that reads "Anyone But You" on it. Kane then kicks Reigns out of the building.

Rollins defeats Ambrose in the main event with the Pedigree and celebrates as the show goes off the air.
