Voice actor Nolan North this week might have leaked some pretty huge news about development on Naughty Dog's The Last of Us 2. North, who provided the voice for the character David in the critically acclaimed video game (which is most likely going to get a movie adaptation), accidentally revealed that the popular development studio is working on the sequel to 2013's Game of the Year during his recent visit to MetroCon 2015, which is definitely news to us since we haven't even heard rumors of this project yet. Get ready for release date and gameplay trailer rumors starting this week! Read more on this news below.

During his Q & A at MetroCon, the acclaimed voice actor notified his audience that he would only take one more question, so someone asked if he had any more Naughty Dog projects in the works after Uncharted 4. His answer might have revealed some huge gaming news (via Gamma Squad).

"I know they're doing a Last of Us 2 but my character in Last of Us kind of had an untimely demise," North responded, according to IGN.

Clearly, this isn't an official statement about the title, but North is the kind of talent to have this sort of information thanks to his prowess in the industry. Would he really know about this project even though the character he voiced isn't returning? Frankly, yes he would, but why would he blurt out this answer so quickly (via VG247)?

Meanwhile, the main voice actor of the game, Troy Baker who voiced Joel in The Last of US explained that he has no information on the sequel.

"I know nothing. I don't know if we're going to do another one or not," Baker said during a panel discussion at Indy PopCon this week, according to IGN. "If we do, then I trust Neil [Druckmann, creative director] and Bruce [Straley, game director] and everyone at Naughty Dog to tell a story that needs to be told.
