Country Singer Brantley Gilbert Weds Fiancée Amber Cochran in Georgia

Sorry ladies, but if country singer Brantley Gilbert was one of your crushes on "Man Crush Monday," you can still dream about him, but he's married now!

According to People, Gilbert tied the knot with his fiancée Amber Cochran at his Georgia home, in a private ceremony.

The 29-year-old singer once revealed that the love of his life was a schoolteacher from his hometown that he has known for many years. Gilbert also claims his new wife was almost the woman that got away.

"It was one of those things that was on and off for few years — mostly on — and then she was the one that got away for about five years," he previously stated after he proposed back October 2014. "It came back around and I've never been happier. This little one, she's the one, and I'm a pretty stoked dude. I'm pretty excited to say the least."

He added, "[She] teaches schools about a mile up the road from my house and it's an awesome thing," he explained. "She loves to teach."

E! News revealed that the couple met in church, and that some of Gilbert's poor decisions made them break up.

"Losing her, it was a straight downhill jolt at first," Gilbert admitted, but later had faith and said, "if you love something you've got to let it go, and if it's meant to be, it'll come back. It's so cliché, but now it happened to me. So I'm a believer."

When describing his wife, Gilbert revealed that his simple school teacher love helped inspire some of his songs.

"Amber is an amazing person and has inspired a lot of my songs from "More Than Miles" to "You Don't Know Her Like I Do" for the last 10 years," he added, "I'm a blessed man to have her back in my life and can't wait to make her my wife."

How sweet.

Gilbert was once engaged to country starlet Jana Kramer. The former couple called it quits in August 2013, blaming their careers and busy schedules.

At that time, a source stated: "They are both so busy right now," the insider added, "They are both on the road and have to spend a lot of time apart, which isn't ideal for any couple, let alone a couple trying to plan a wedding."

Kramer later moved on and started dating Washington Redskins tight end Mike Caussin. They were married on May 22, 2015.
