The war on legalizing marijuana nationwide is forging on, folks. It's being reported that Oregon has now legalized pot for those over the age of 21. Now, while it's still illegal to sell the drug, recreational use and sharing is perfectly legal in your own home.

The Huffington Post reports that the state legalized weed "at midnight Wednesday" after voters approved Measure 91 back in November 2014. The 56% "yes" vote noted that the drug should be legalized for recreational purposes. And now that it has passed, marijuana can freely be consumed inside Oregon denizens' own homes.

What this means is that users can smoke or eat pot products inside their residences, but not out in public. Furthermore, they are allowed to possess upwards of 8oz of pot in their homes and grow up to four plants as long as they are outside of public view. They are also able to make edible products such as brownies and cookies.

When outside, however, those over 21 can only possess up to 1oz of pot, as long as it stays in Oregon.

Take a look at Oregon's below description of the new marijuana law:

The new law is, well, new. Therefore, there are certain things being ironed out but the fact remains that pot is now legal in Oregon. So, get celebrating!

Oregon's new law makes it the fourth state in the country to legalize pot for recreational use. Those having done so have seen an increase in tax revenue and a reduction in crime, per the HuffPost report. As of this writing, 23 states have legalized the drug for medical usage.

Folks, which state do you think is next to legalize pot?
