'Bones' Season 11 Spoilers: Will David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel's Booth/Brennan Find Murder?

The Season 10 finale of Bones aired on Fox. With Season 11 of Bones in the planning stages, as Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) reconcile; will they return to the Jefferson team with open arms? Or is the team in desperate need of help with a new murder?

As we previously mentioned, the Jeffersonian team lost a longtime member, while welcoming a new addition at the same time. The tenth season premiere started with a major shocker as Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) met with a horrible death while trying to clear Booth's name. The mourning period began with Sweets' funeral and the introduction to his successor, FBI Agent James Aubrey (John Boyd). With a new baby on the way, Brennan and Booth made the decision to say goodbye, even though Pelant threatened to return.

The season finale also featured Angela and Hodgins making the decision to stay and ditch their plans for Paris, while giving their tainted and stolen $4 billion to charities in need. The episode can be described as a series finale and a do-over at the same time.

According to TV Line, the synopsis for next season follows, "Picking up six months after the Season 10 finale, Brennan and Booth have moved on to a new town and new jobs, having given up their old life and settled into a blissful death-free existence. But a murder unlike any other draws them back to investigate with their former colleagues at the Jeffersonian and FBI."

Could it be Pelant that drives Brennan and Booth to return? We will have to wait and see.

We also mentioned, the premiere date has been set in stone. Bones will return to its regular Thursday time slot. Booth and Brennan will also have to deal with the Headless Horseman following after them. Viewers should expect the Bones/Sleepy Hollow combo platter when both shows launch on the late side of Oct. 1.

Bones will return for Season 11 on Fox in October.
