USA's 'Mr. Robot' Recap: Episode 3: Christian Slater, Rami Malek's "Eps1.2_d3bug.mkv!"

The highly anticipated hacker drama, Mr. Robot continues on USA Network, In Episode 3, eps1.2_d3bug.mkv, will the lives of Elliot (Rami Malek) and Angela Moss (Portia Doubleday) suddenly find themselves threatened by the enemies of the anarchist Mr. Robot (Christian Slater)?

While practicing his speech, Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) exercises, redoes his tie, and slaps his face around. After telling himself he will be the next CTO, Tyrell discovers he has been passed over. After seeing his female replacement, Tyrell pays a homeless man and beats him to a bloody pulp. 

After Tyrell gets back in his car, Elliot wakes up in a hospital. His drug dealer, Shayla (Frances Shaw), and therapist, Krista (Gloria Reuben), are standing next to his bed. Elliot reveals to Krista that he has been taking morphine. He promises not to take morphine again but lies to her. 

Shayla wants to know if Elliot got her boyfriend busted. The two then find Darlene (Carly Chaikin) inside his room. After kicking Darlene out of his room, Elliot heads back to work. Angela accidentally helps a robbery in progress. 

Ollie (Ben Rappaport) gets a threatening call from a hacker, who promises to break him and releases all his cheating info. Gideon (Michel Gill) invites his team over to dinner but Elliot rejects him. After getting into an argument with Gideon, Elliot finds Mr. Robot sitting in his chair.

Elliot grabs Mr. Robot, who won't leave until they speak. At a nearby bar, Mr. Robot and Elliot drink apple martinis before the anarchist apologizes. Mr. Robot reveals Elliot is the key to his plan. 

Thinking Fsociety is really over, Elliot promises to like things on Instagram and accepts Gideon's dinner invitation. Gideon then asks his secretary if Elliot was drinking Starbucks. Ollie hesitates putting a DVD into his computer, Tyrell kisses his wife before leaving to a club.

Elliot asks Shayla to go to Gideon's dinner party as his girlfriend. Sheryl shows Elliot her quilts, something she has never shown online. The two kiss just as Tyrell is spotted at a nightclub. Even though he's married, Tyrell also happens to be into guys.

Elliot and Shayla are awkward being around Ollie and Angela. As Gideon's husband makes small talk, Angela drinks more wine seeing Elliot with Shayla. Elliot makes up a lie to please Gideon's suspicions and gets a hug from his boss. Elliot and Angela share childhood memories when he suddenly gets a call. 

A new hacking scandal has surfaces, implicating Terry Colby on a massive cover-up. Evil Corp is responsible for the deaths of Elliot's father and Angela's mother from leukemia. Elliot remembers his crying mother being hard on his dead father. 

After having sex with his lover, Tyrell quickly hacks into the man's cellphone. Angela apologizes for running away, but Ollie wants to talk. Angela goes through the cheating emails and tells him they're breaking up. She can't be with a guy with his problem. 

Knowing her information is being threatened, Angela will have to infect All Safe's systems. After calming down, she doesn't want to break up with him after all. 

Knowing Fsociety is involved, Gideon makes a call, which could endanger his life. Tyrell puts his pregnant wife under bondage as they contemplate their next move. 

Elliot meets with Mr. Robot, sets up his computer, and tells the group his plan.
