Ryan Reynolds talks new film Self/Less on Fox News with correspondent Ashley Dvorkin about the sci-fi genre, what it's like to do an action movie and of course, what it's like to be a Twitter sensation.

Reynolds who has developed over the years and experimented with different types of films starting with appearances on various TV shows including being a regular character on The Outer Limits. He moved on to comedies like Van Wilder and then even experimented with the horror genre with the remake of Amittyville Horror. Once he was more established as an actor as well as a star, Reynolds became a superhero in the Green Lantern. He's married to Blake Lively (who started out with Gossip Girl and then proceeded to bigger budget films like The Town and The Age of Adaline) who recently welcomed their daughter, James, back in December 2014. The couple together has generated both negative and positive attention from the tabloids, dissecting their marriage. They already have divorce rumors post baby.

Self/Less is a sci-fi action-packed thriller. When a dying 52 year-old billionaire (Ben Kingsley) gives his body to a secret organization, they move his consciousness into a stranger's body in an attempt at a type of immortality. Reynolds plays Damian, the new host body. However, there seem to be a few side effects from becoming immortal and chaos ensues for Damian. Reynolds claims that you "get the best of both worlds" in this particular film because it becomes a hybrid of cross-pollinating genres.

The film also addresses a subject as old as life itself, immortality. Reynolds brings up that the way the story is set up, this film can get pretty dark in a different way. "I can't imagine the kind of arrogance it would take to say, 'you know what, I'm going to use power, money, and influence to buy my way into another life.'"

Reynolds also talks about Twitter and how his other upcoming film, Deadpool, was greenlit because of the fans on Instagram and Twitter. He sees Twitter as a bit of a double-edged sword because while he likes to have fun with it in the sense of being limited to only 140 characters, he also believes that it can be "dangerous" in the sense of its unpredictability and how hurt people can get because of it.

It seems like Reynolds is truly becoming a well-rounded and experienced actor. It will be good to see him in different type of film role with Self/Less. Self/Less is in theaters now! Take a look at the most recent trailer below!
