There has been a lot said in the last couple of years about equal pay amongst men and women in general, but especially during the course of the past year with Sony's email system being hacked, it has been addressed in the big studios out in Hollywood. It was allegedly discovered that Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams received 7% of the film's profits whilst Bradley Cooper and Christian Bale received 9% for American Hustle. Now Amanda Seyfried has had her own recent experience and speaks out against the salary sex inequality in the entertainment business. She claims that when she was working on one of her bigger budget films that she was being paid 10% of what her male co-star was receiving and that they were both well-known actors at the time. The Ted 2 actress says that we still have a long way to go when it comes to closing the gap in gender pay inequality in Hollywood, but she isn't the only one.

Not too long ago, Rose McGowan was fired from her agency because she went viral with an angry tweet after going to an Adam Sandler film casting call. According to the Guardian, McGown was allegedly turned off by the entire ordeal because she and the other actresses at the casting call were asked to show off their boobs with push-up bras in low-cut tops. McGowan claims that this has been going on in the business for over two decades and that when she did her first film she was reminded by her agent when she was 17 years old to "have long hair so men in this town would want to f--- and hire [her]."

Patricia Arquette also believes in fighting this issue and made a point when she won her Oscar for Best Supporting Actress this year she said, "It's time to have wage equality once and for all."
