Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper Star in 'Joy' 2015 Movie Trailer [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

Director David O. Russell is reuniting with his Silver Linings Playbook cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro for one of 2015's most highly anticipated movies, Joy. Starring the Mockingjay starlet in the title role of Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano, audiences will get to experience this rags-to-riches true story full of love, betrayal, and innovation when it hits theaters on its Christmas day release date! Fans of Russell understand his vision in storytelling and filmmaking, and we also know that he loves Lawrence. He believes that she is the perfect actress to take on this role, which has more layers to it than you would think.

According to the director, this film is about "an epic, unexpected story about the interior life of one woman's soul, from the ages of 10 to 40. What's it like to become a boss and the godmother of a family and dynasty, both emotionally and commercially? You go inside that person's soul, and it's alternately hilarious, horrifying, and sort of joyous. Relationships are always complex, and nobody gets to success without breaking some of their own bones-and other people's, too."
