Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Split? Break Up Rumors Swirl, Aziz Ansari Heckles R-Patz in Front of 'Twilight' Sweetheart

Rumors are swirling once more that "Twilight" lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart have officially split... again. Apparently following such a "tense holiday period," R-Patz just couldn't take it anymore. In the midst of all the breakup hoopla, it turns out that the British heartthrob was recently heckled at a Golden Globes after-party for his "lack of proper dancing skills" by none-other-than actor/comedian Aziz Ansari... right in front of his on-and-off again "Twilight" sweetheart! And so the R-Patz and K-Stew drama continues...

A (rather shady) report in U.K.'s The Sun claims that the stress of trying to rekindle a faltering relationship (following Stewart's highly-publicized affair with "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders over the summer) has left Pattinson torn and battered. The gossip tabloid states, "The heartbroken Brit, 26, broke the news to his ex over the weekend, telling her they would be better off as friends."

The "Twilight" couple's relationship has remained on the rocks ever since their romantic reunion back in September... after spending a rather strained Thanksgiving together with Pattinson's fam, the duo decided to spend the Christmas holiday apart. They ultimately reunited for the New Year, ringing in 2013 together on a romantic, private getaway to the Isle of Wight. But Pattinson managed to turn some heads once again when he recently showed up to the 70th annual Golden Globe Awards... solo. According to one alleged inside source - "[Stewart] flew to LA and was supposed to be Rob's date for the Golden Globes, but he told her he wants to cool it off... He loves her but would rather go back to being good friends so they can rebuild their trust and focus on work after 'Twilight'... Kristen's upset but understands. She shouldn't have pushed him to reconcile after her infidelity. She's hoping he'll come round and time will be a great healer."

But The Sun's "breakup" report contradicts the fact that following the Golden Globes, Stewart supposedly showed up to an after-party in West Hollywood to meet up with her leading man. In fact, Us Weekly reports that when the duo was attempting to leave the bash at around 2:30 a.m., R-Patz was approached by comedian Aziz Ansari. The 29-year-old "Parks and Recreation" star stopped Pattinson to heckle him about not busting any moves out on the dance floor! Pattinson took the confrontational joke in stride, shooting back with, "Now you're coming with us to keep on partying!"

Oh, and such break up rumors are hard to believe considering the couple was allegedly spotted buying some kinky toys at an L.A. sex shop earlier this week...
