According to new transfer rumors, Barclays Premier League franchise Manchester United is drafting a deal to bring three-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo back to Old Trafford from Real Madrid. Allegedly, the Portuguese goal-scorer isn't happy over in Spain and is open to offers from other clubs. Like many transfer rumors, we have no confirmation or solid evidence to back up this gossip except for some credible sources. The Mirror is reporting this rumor as if it's a tough battle between the teams for Ronaldo, whereas ESPN FC is taking this rumor at face value: speculation.
Perhaps one of the biggest arguing points for this rumor is that there are mounting reports that Real Madrid manager Rafa Benitez isn't Ronaldo's favorite coach. After taking over at the end of last season, Benitez has allegedly rubbed Cristiano the wrong way, which is strange since the competitive matches haven't even started (via ESPN FC).

We're not sure what to make of Ronaldo's unhappiness with his new coach and the rumors of a transfer to England, but we do know that only time will tell what will truly take place with the top player.
