Lucious Lyon Real Life Drama! Terrence Howard Sued by Ex-Wife, Michelle Ghent

Looks like Empire star Terrence Howard aka Lucious Lyon has a real life drama at home with his ex-wife, Michelle Ghent! MStars News has learned why we all should be calling her Cookie Lyon — she's not backing down from the actor and suing him for domestic violence.

According to Page Six, Ghent has taken action against her ex one day before the statute of limitations expires. Ghent claims her ex-husband threw her against a bathroom wall, strangled and kicked her while on vacation in Costa Rica back in 2013.

The site also adds that Howard said that the incident was mutual, claiming that his ex tried to threaten him, and revealed that she would kill him and his family.

MStars News previously reported that Howard claimed Ghent was making death threats against his new family. The Empire star believed that Ghent was behind Instagram threats to his family.

One of the text from the made up account read: "I'm watching you! I'm coming for ... LOL. You two won't live to see your children."

After Howard and Ghent divorced in early 2013, Lucious Lyon's ex claimed that he assaulted her in a Toronto hotel room. Ghent also revealed that Howard had threatened suicide on more than one occasion.

We also learned that Howard claimed he was too broke to pay his ex in spousal support.

After his divorce from Ghent, Howard remarried in December 2013. The actor tied the knot with the mother of his 4th child, Miranda, after only dating her for a month!

MStars News is sure Howard's new wife isn't liking the drama. MStars News previously reported that the couple welcomed their first child together earlier this year naming him, Qirin Love.

Howard revealed that his son's name "is derived from the mythic Chinese creature, the qilin, which is said to appear before a time of prosperity or serenity."
